We are not just dog people. We are crazy dog people! Our breeding program is devoted to improving the breed by only breeding the very best. We strive to produce puppies that meet the breed standard in every way, especially in temperament. What sets us apart from other breeders is our special focus on maternal and neonatal nutrition, longevity and genetic diversity, and a curated educational program for puppy buyers.
Conformation
We believe in finishing our dog’s AKC championships either before or shortly after being bred. We also mush our dogs recreationally when the weather allows to assess their structure on the trail.
Nutrition
We believe in evidence-based nutrition for our moms and neonates. We feed moms 30% protein and 20% fat content with carbs making up 20% of the diet, and we supplement additional zinc and omega-3 fatty acids.
Health & Longevity
We are up-to-date on the latest genetic research and pay attention to both the Embark-tested genetic COI and pedigree COI of all our dogs. Our dogs are OFA tested for hips and eyes as well.
Our Services
We live on 8 acres in Ridgefield, CT – about an hour away from New York City. This is the view from our yard! All of our litters are whelped and raised in our home. For the first week, mothers are never left alone with their puppies, and we sleep next to them at night. We follow the Puppy Culture program, including early neurological stimulation, emotional resiliency exercises, safe early socialization, and more. Puppies are exposed to basic obedience, leash manners, potty training, and crate training. We Dremel their nails, brush their teeth, and give them baths. We desensitize them to high velocity dryers and grooming rakes and combs.
Who We Are
Rebecca and Dan hope to educate others about the sports of dog showing and mushing, as well as the merits of responsible breeding. They firmly believe that there is a space for both rescues and responsible breeders. They are hugely passionate about the Siberian breed and preserving their original function as sled dogs. They are also passionate about welcoming new people into showing and breeding, since the US needs more reputable breeders.

Our Guarantee
We offer a lifetime health guarantee that covers genetic diseases such as but not limited to cataracts, hip dysplasia, and epilepsy. We offer this guarantee not because our dogs cannot get these diseases, but because we want to know if they do, and we want to be fully supportive of you if they do.
We also offer a cryptorchidism guarantee, which means if your dog is cryptorchid and needs a more invasive and expensive neuter (after the age of 12 months), we will refund you the difference in cost.
We fully support our pet and show homes with lifelong education and mentorship. We are always learning ourselves as standards of nutrition, veterinary care, and animal husbandry are ever-evolving. We pass this knowledge on to our puppy buyers through regular email updates.
